Repertoire Requirements
The entire program must be heard at the local level. The same repertoire will be used for all levels.

With the exception of lengthy orchestral tuttis in concertos, each selection must be performed in its entirety without cuts.

In grades 7 - 12 solo, one movement of a sonata is considered a complete selection. In grades 9 - 12 concerto, one movement of a concerto is considered a complete selection.

Except for organ contestants, all contestants should play by memory.

Repertoire should be from standard, published repertoire. Arrangements are unacceptable. Questions about repertoire compliance should be addressed to either the chairman of the contest category or the performance coordinator prior to the local contest.
Before Local Contest
Receive entries from teachers. Local forms are available on the web site. Local teachers should submit the forms online and forward a copy of the confirmation e-mail to the local performance chair for verification.
