A TMTA Teacher Enrichment Grant of up to $2,000 annually is available for individual music teachers who are members of a local association and TMTA. The grant will be awarded at the discretion of the TMTA Trustees.

To qualify for this grant, the teacher needs to meet the following criteria:
1. Is presently teaching and needs funding to further his/her ability to obtain an undergraduate degree (this does not include enhancement lessons or regular master lessons)

2. Has been teaching for five years or less and needs funding to establish a studio or to enhance his/her present studio equipment (this may include purchase of a new instrument, audio equipment, teaching materials, etc.)

3. Needs assistance in re-establishing his/her studio (music, instruments, etc.), due to a natural disaster (this may include fire, flood or wind damage to the studio)

Teacher must be currently teaching. Funding does not include enhancement lessons or regular master lessons.

Briefly outline your current work in music, area of music concentration, number of current students, etc.

The applicant also should submit two letters of recommendation from previous or current teachers (private and/or college faculty.) E-mail these letters to tmtatrustee@tmta.org.

The applicant should also submit a precise statement of finances needed to meet the costs of the projected course of study. This may be uploaded in the space provided below. Acceptable file formats include standard word processors, rtf files or pdf files.
